Fear and Southey Cups
The Fear Cup was presented in 1928 by Mrs Fear of Ashcombe Ladies and for four years was the trophy for which the fledgling Somerset County Ladies played South Wales and Monmouth. In 1932, with many newly formed ladies' clubs affiliating to Somerset, it was decided that the Cup should be used for a rinks tournament for the County. The Bloomfield ladies have entered the Fear Cup competition since it's inception.
They also enter the Southey Trophy which is a County-wide competition, played by 10 players on a Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours basis.
